Guard Your Life

This is a mitzvah, a commandment, that I feel is so important, but that sometimes gets overlooked. We get so caught up in our daily lives, perhaps overwhelmed with being so busy. How often do we really check in with and take care of ourselves? We may make excuses for why we can't, or shouldn't. However, remembering that it is an actual mitzvah to take care of ourselves is so important. Hashem wants us to take care of our physical, spiritual, and emotional health. To protect ourselves from harm, whatever form it may take. This piece serves as a reminder for such an important mitzvah.
