Tree of Life

A piece based on the Mishlei (Proverbs) quote (3:18) regarding ones connection to their Judaism and the Torah, "It is a tree of life for those who grasp it". I have always felt that my connection to my Judaism was a beautiful gift, that gave me hope during hard times, and vibrancy during the good. This piece is a reminder for how special and meaningful each person's connection to their Judaism can be.

Made on Basswood plaque. Each piece will vary slightly due to natural discrepancies in each piece of wood (grains and knots in the wood), as well as the wood burning being done by hand.
